Vivid dreams during valium taper, makes for restless night. Anyone else?

Since I c/o to Valium, it seems like I dream all night long every night.  I was used to dreaming, but not like this.  The weird part is that I dream about people I haven't seen or even thought about in the past 20 years.  These dreams are causing a lot of tossing and turning without any sound sleep.  It's not insomnia.  I sleep all night, but these strange and vivid dreams also last all night.

 

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it is a possible sx caused from switching to Valium?

Yes, had and still have vivid and disturbing dreams and some are about things 50 years ago. Sometimes  they are of things that I never thought about before. V is one weird drug.

Oh yes. Those vivid dreams kicked in as soon as I started tapering.

Would probably take it as a good sign.
