Today i have to miss a party with family and friends again i am so sick of this stupid withdrawal.

I am now 5 months and 2 weeks of and have so many waves but it just won't stop i hate this

I’m 5 months and 2 weeks post CT ... I’m missing a family reunion I really wanted to attend.  Maybe next time.

That is one of those Benzo Lies. You wont ever heal and will always feel this way is a huge benzo lie. But I also know it does feel as if it IS never going to end. I felt that way myself. I did not really understand Benzo Lies

until I had started the real healing, healing I could see and feel.

Just don't give up, friends. This can be gotten through.

Hi.  I am so sorry I know how you feel.  In a few days, I will be 6 months off and I had to miss the first opportunity to go out to dinner I have had in a very long while (I VERY rarely have opportunities to eat out with anyone) because I was unwell.

I’m here with y’all. I’m only three weeks out but since my taper started in February I have been home bound. I don’t have friends at all. I guess that makes me feel better since I’m not missing out on family or friend stuff because that just doesn’t exist but I’d like the opportunity to go make some damn friends. I’ve left my house maybe 10 times in the last four months and that is only to grocery shop. I hope for healing for all of us.

Better days are coming.  I have hours of so much better.  I see healing each week.  It may take a while longer for some of us (or not), but we are healing!

Congrats on 3 months, Sila.  I am 6 months out, and I am still struggling every day, so I really admire your courage and progress.

 

I am exploring some underlying conditions here.....though I will not post about it on this forum, as if I do, I may get my hands slapped again.
