Feeling Like My Head Will Explode

I don't know how to describe the symptom that I have been experiencing for the past couple mornings. All I can say is it feels like my mind is working too hard and too fast and my head could explode (I know that's an over exaggeration). I can't focus on anything except how hard my head is going. It seems to kick in about 30 minutes after waking up every day.

I've experienced something similar, but mine usually happens in the afternoon. Like my brain is just running too fast, and needs to calm down. I usually pop a Theanine or an Ashwaganda if I can't deal. I try to wait for it to pass, but sometimes I just can't deal.

It feels like my head is just going so fast and I can't concentrate. Feel like I could go mad at any moment.

Yep. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, the CD and the ball cap. If you haven't got anything else around to calm your brain down a tad (and I'm not talking dope stash), try deep breathing. I alternate between Tryptophan, Theanine, Ashwaganda, St. John's Wort, and an herbal relax tea I get from an herbalist in GA. The tea is full of a bunch of stuff that Ashton says you're not supposed to have (I think all the stuff I've mentioned is on her no-no list), but sometimes you just have to calm down before you stroke out. None of that stuff sends me into a wave or a setback, so I figure I'm good. If the WD takes a little longer as a result, sometimes I just don't care. I do alternate between the stuff, so I don't get hooked on any one thing. Sometimes the racing doesn't last all that long, and I won't take anything. I do try deep breathing first, before I reach for the supplements.
