I think it depends but mine was gone fully about 11 months. Just keep working on your brain. Do math, read, puzzles etc. You're be A ok in no time buddy

Ever Hopeful Quest I agree. I keep saying the same thing. I saw some of your posts and we have such similar symptoms. It's all psych stuff for me. Its like my brain is in a fog of just wanting to kill myself half the day but I'm barely thinking about anything but just feel anger and lack of connection to anything or anyone. I used to have a joy for life and pride myself on being a good thinker. When not working I would spend my time writing and painting and all of my creativity is still gone. I feel like I have a super low IQ. The one good thing I can say which I mentioned in another post is that the other night while I was doing my nightly ritual of laying in bed next to my bf and just listening to the tv until I pass out because the anxiety is so bad I had what could be a window. I noticed my anxiety was a lot less but suddenly it felt like clouds parting in my mind and my whole feeling of a normal self came flooding back, everything that I loved and my normal state of being pre w/d returned while laying there even though it felt a little foggy still. I imagined for a moment a painting I would want to paint. It gives me hope at least to remember this state of being is not me and hopefully one day I will come back to life.
