Wave after 14 months

I guess I'm venting as much as asking a question.  I had a fairly short withdrawal period of around 4 months of intense symptoms after my jump from ativan.  Short term..low dose user.  Have been really doing well and now at 14 months off, symptoms showed up again.  Just like the first months.  It lasted about a month or so and slowly went away.  Exercise seemed to be helping but out of the blue...this morning I woke up with the cortisol rushes at 4:30am like clockwork and have cog fog all morning.  I know this is withdrawal sxs but sometimes I start questioning what is going on?  This is so ridiculous.  It's not as bad as it was but it still feels horrible.  I thought I was through all of this?  I had improved so much.  What a bummer.  Anyway, here I am.  Dealing with this mess still.  Please tell anyone you know the dangers of this medication.  So dangerous.

Sorry to hear your symptoms are back. At least you know they get better. I am also 14 months off and struggling but I've not had a solid window since like month two. I am starting to question if something else is wrong

What symptoms did you have that went away? Was it the cortisol rushes and cog fog? Were those the two main ones you were dealing with?

Adrenalin rushes in the morning.  Always makes for a rough day.  Anxiety, tension, headaches, cog fog.  Just the standard benzo crude.  It's chemical, you can feel the chemical induced anxiety but it still is no fun.

I had these awful toxic mornings since i jumped, absolutely horrific, and i had an antibiotic setback which put me back in acute at 9 months off which made it all worse. I'm 17 months off now and it's definitely easing up over the past 6 weeks, i just have to get up straightaway and it passes off in 15 minutes. Hopefully it will get better soon for you too.
