Any Tips for Syringe Lines?

Some of the lines/marks on the syringes disappear when I wash them. I have a bunch of the 1 ml syringes but only a couple more of the three ml. I can buy more, of course, but they are fine other than disappearing markings. Any tips/tricks for making the lines not wash off?

Put some clear tape on the barrel

Yup, "Scotch" tape over the markings.

Got 'er done. Scotch tape must be the duct tape of syringe users.
