For the last 5 weeks, going places has been causing me increasingly more intense anxiety attacks. I keep trying to go places hoping to overcome this. Should I keep doing this or should I back off for awhile?

Maybe you need a happy medium? Slack off a little bit but don't stop going places all together. You might feel that way for a while. It is very normal to be more sensitive to ones surroundings in WD. Try to only schedule one thing to do at a time. Like don't try to go more than just the one store or restaurant or whatever. Getting my hair cut could send me into a wave so I stopped cutting my hair for a while. Now, I can go no problem. But the way I see it, cutting my hair was not necessary but going to the grocery store was. Then when you are there try not to think about how you feel. Distract yourself as much as possible. Concentrate on the task at hand. I hope this helps.

Eliza, I agree with Annie.  Go one place at a time (a day).  Keep the exposure up, just less stimulation until your body adjusts more.

Thanks. The frustrating thing is jist dive weeks ago, I could pretty much go anywhere.

Now going out sends me into bad anxiety ehich makes my bp spike and causes more anxiety. I dont understand why this is happening now when I was doing so well.i had a very nad stressful situation that caused me a bad anxiety attack on April 29th. And this has been happening ever since. But now I tginkw I have developed a phobia of having anxiety going out and so now it happens.

Im seven months out and this is what i was like past summer, but it was better for most of fall and winter until last month.
