Should I go back on an AD?

The anxiety post taper is so bad! I came off Zoloft 8 weeks ago. Anyone return to an AD to cope during recovery?

You're adding drugs for the drugs, that you'll then have to come off of. I think the idea is to stop thinking of drugs for anything. It sounds simple, and forgive me for sounding glib, I know how awful it can be, I really do. Unbearable, impossible.... but you haven't been off long. This could have been predicted. If you wait it out, you'll get past the worst of it and be free of these poisons. It's worth the wait, to get the rest of your life. It really is.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.  I am having a very difficult time functioning.  Afraid to be alone difficult for me to be out and barely taking care of myself let alone my three kids.  Been off the Ativan for nine weeks now.  Incessant looping in my head.  Worry fear pain.  And let’s not forget our good old friend insomnia.  What do you recommend to get through?  Desperado!!

What I have learned is reinstate might give adverse reactions. I stopped tsking Seroquel after taper 3 months. It gave me anxiety and strange w/d sxs. And reinstate made is worse. Really worse. So I had to stop them again after just a few days.

It takes time for our fragile CNS to heal.
