Almost three years out now

I'm coming up to my third Benzo free year this year. Benzo withdrawal changed my life in so many ways, not only was it the most harrowing, horrific thing I have ever been through and any human being could ever go through,  it gave me the strength to leave my deadbeat, frankly abusive marriage too. Using withdrawal as a point of comparison, in the sense that nothing on this Earth could ever come close to being as bad as that was, I picked up my life and left him.

 

I now have a new partner, I am lined up for a new flat for me and my dog, and I am looking at ways of making my own money and finally supporting myself.

 

My symptoms have almost all faded away now, no more head pressure, no more palpitations, no more numbness, no more dizzy spells, no more POTS, no more swelling, no more chest pains etc etc etc, they've all but mostly faded away. The only thing I have left really is the vibrating sensation inside my body, but this past year it has lessened in intensity to a point where it seldom ever bothers me anymore.

 

One day, one day at a time and you will reach this point, and you'll be healed too!

God has a plan and he will make sure you stay on His plan no matter how far off track you get. Everything happens for a reason.

I have that to the vibrating current in my body. I am 20 months off next week and this wont stop.I guess this one is a long lasting sx. Did you had dr dp and this crazy sensory overload?

I’m 33 mos and still having the occasional bad wave. Trying to get functional to return to work.

Sleep is returning so I’m hoping I can finish this out soon. Let’s get out there, it’s been hell.

Congratulation on picking up stumps and embarking on a new life, benzo, and husband free.  Benzo withdrawal teaches us much.  Painful lessons.
