Do we continue to heal?

Ive heard people say they thought they were completely healed from benzo withdrawals only to realize that after another few months or years they continued to improve. My question is, Has anyone seen improvements after they thought they were healed?

Hi 

I'll say this - I've thought I was healed a few times only to come crashing back down to earth with a bang!

But also, at approaching 9 months out, I'm having way more windows than I ever thought possible  .

I'm down to 10 mg paxil and holding, but am not taking anything else whatsoever. There is still muscle tension which seems to move around the body at will - I've had clenched jaw for maybe a month but now it has moved back to the neck and shoulders  All things considered though, I'm definitely improving and have every hope for a full recovery.

Yep! In the later stages of healing, you feel so well that you just live your life normally and rarely think about WD. Then a few months later, you’ll realize “wow I feel better than I did” or “that symptom is gone now! I completely forgot about it!”

Thanks! That is what I was wondering. I look forward to the day Im not thinking about WD!
