CT off 2mg Klonopin and drinking in Feb. It was only bad for two weeks!

I am seeing a lot of posts where things are not going well. I would just like to post that my experience was that withdrawal did not last long.  I was very sick for two weeks, but 100% healed by one month.  I am happy with my decision and results.

Good for you.

It's really nice reading about others who have been able to stop taking Klonopin/ Clonazepam without to much difficulty.

I quit 8mg a day myself in 6 weeks.

Congrats.

What an excellent outcome.

I am very happy for you.  I wish were same for me, and others here.

You are one of the fortunate ones.  Count your lucky stars.  I wouldn't  wish it on my worst enemy.

Hope you don't ever return to using benzo's (again) as result of good outcome this time.  Next time could be different.  Or, so I have been told.

Dee

Glad to see I'm not the only one who is not having oodles of trouble. I was starting to think I was a freak of nature or something. I have withdrawal symptoms (I'm only at 9 days), but they just aren't that hellish. Especially since I've found my insomnia cure. Not really worse than anything else I've ever CT-d off of, although I expect the duration is going to be longer than what I'm used to.

I had been doing well, too, but now I’m having troubles. I think lack of sleep is causing some of them. What is your cure for insomnia?

Binaural beats never helped me a bit. They actually seemed to rev me up. What DID work for me was listening to sleep hypnosis videos. I did not WATCH them, as we all know computer/phone screens can keep us awake. I just listened, and over a bit over a month, they truly did help me sleep for the first time in over a year.

I still listen to them on nights I have mild insomnia.

Binaural beats do a good job for me, everybody's different. What DIDN'T work for me was binaural beats with music. Music was just WAY too stimulating. I've tried a couple of the hypnosis ones, but I have yet to find a voice that doesn't get on my nerves. I'll keep looking.
