Agoraphobia

Agoraphobia came back over the past two weeks after months of successfulpy going out to church and the movies, grocery shopping, going to the mall. All sorts of things. Got stuck in this wave and after a bad blood pressure spike while out, now wheneber i try to go out. My anxiety goes through the roof and my bp goes up again. I know its all anxiety based, because in my house its not happening so much, its whn I go out. My morning anxiety is still pretty bad .  But this agoraphobia is so depressing. I am.making myself go to the store foe quick trips, but it is sooo hard now. Does this get netter again? I was doing so much better in the fall and winter. I am seven months out now.

Does this get  better? Anyone experience this and had the panic attacks when going out go away?

Yes, it does get better. Even when you've had a setback. I had one . . . and things improved again.

 

The trick (for me) was to just keep pushing through it. Take baby steps. You'll get back to where you were before.
