anyone here dealing with tapering in addition to having a TBI/PCS/concussion?

the symptoms of tapering alone are horrible but added to the brain injury symptoms i have, and my brain being jacked up regardless of the benzos, sometimes the TBI symptoms mask any benzo taper progress i'm making. it's a confusing thing. wondering if there's a chance anyone else is going through something similar?

I'm not sure what you're actually asking here (sorry!) but I had a TBI whilst tapering, I had a stroke due to a too rapid taper, due to clueless Dr,  on the day it happened I thought the sxs were just another part of the horrific taper, in the beginning I could never distinguish what was the taper and what was the effects of the stroke, as I recovered it became easier but was still horrific. At 16 months off most of the physical sxs are much less but the mental sxs are torturous and some of them are the same as after someone has had a stroke, especially the severe emotional lability and crying spells and I wonder if the stroke has damaged me permanently in this way, but when I'm not in a wave I'm 90% ok so I hope it's good ol wd. At the end of the day all you can do is ride it out and hang on tight,  it's all been horrific whether from TBI, wd or both, I'm really hanging out for this awful experience to end.
