I have been taking benzos for about 18 years I am currently taking clonazepam I am down to about 0.25 using liquid taper method .I just realized in the last 5 months how much they affect you sad after all these years no doctor really explained what they really do I  started taking them for sleep over a bad situation.I joined because I need some questions answered hopefully.

You will get plenty of support here.  Well done on your taper so far!  Benzodiazepines should be tapered slowly and carefully.  The general recommendation is to taper no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days, you can alter the schedule, whatever rate you are comfortable with.
