Things I can do:

Sleep 4 to 6 hours.

Go to the bathroom on my own. Shower.

Eat eggs, sweet potatoes, meat, or veggies. My mom prepares this for me.

Lay in bed in agony all day cuz my brain hurts and is electrocuting me.

Hope someone on BB can cheer me up.

Pray for a miracle.

Things i cant do:

Stop thinking im going to die from drug withdrawal.

Eat processed junk food that tastes good.

Stop losing weight. Down 55 pounds.

Walk for more than 2 minutes.

Excercise.

Watch tv without giving myself a siezure.

Drive my car without causing an accident.

Ride in a car without siezuring.

Go to school.

Go to work.

Move out with my wife and stop living with my parents.

Travel.

Ride in an airplane.

Go back to my home away from home. Seoul South Korea.

Be happy.

Stop regretting my poor life decisions.

Stop hating myself.

Feel any sense of hope.

Thinking this is forever.

Stop giving myself set backs with other drugs.

Escape acute.

Everything else humanly possible that I forgot to list.

The things you can do ... are an improvement!

Many of those you could not dos ... were on my list ... I can do many of them now (maybe not as easily as last year...but I can do them).  We are healing!

You will do them again!

I so agree, crescent. Focusing on what you CAN do is so much better a way to cope. In fact, this is an example of all that is RIGHT about recovering from benzos. I am so proud of you for focusing on positives.

Sara Sue, please read my last entries on my Blog. PLEASE do. I miss you.

Little by little you will be able to do more things from the “can’t do” list.

As you mentioned it starts with very humble beginnings like going to the bathroom, eating simple stuff, taking a shower....

Take it slowly without too much pressure on you and things will come back in time.
