Hi everyone,

I’m in month six now and was feeling improved with symptoms settling, my baseline was better until this morning. Anyone else experience sudden burning stomach, nausea with the burning inner nerve pain? And if so, how long did this last?

Thanks....

(Really suffering this morning  :()

My mornings are terrible as well .

Unfortunately I was Rxed this junk in the first place for stomach / gut issues . I know that sounds crazy but that is what happened . I have really bad diverticulitis as well as inflammatory bowel disease . I came in to the Dr and they did not believe me ( sound familiar ) that my belly hurt worse than it usually did to the point that my freaking gall bladder burst . They believed me then  >:(. So when the pain and nausea after surgery were totally out of control my GP got the bright idea to rx xanax then klonopin to relax the biliary area . It was such a relief and he told me this was perfectly safe that I did not care only that I didn't puke and was out of pain .

If I knew then what I know now I would not have touched it .

You can imagine what a total war zone my entire abdomen is now . Dr got raided by the police , clinic closed and he practices again though is not allowed to rx controlled substances . Alot of us got hurt like this .

So yeah 24/7 I am in tummy hell right now, especially the right side , and I am starting to think the POTS that I was blaming on WD was actually caused by the GB surgery and the benzos covered it up . I guess I will find out as the months proceed. I don't really know .

I am so sorry for your suffering, BlueDutchess.  A burst gallbladder!! :-[  OUCH!!

The off label prescribing habits are insane...........

Thank you for sharing your experience and hope you find relief, soon.  Mine has settled down since early this morning and am thankful for the reprieve......

(Interesting that my pain hits on the right side, too.  I have gallbladder/bilirubin issues)

I am glad you feel better no matter what !

I agree the off label rx'es are off the hook . That is a weak place for both of us and this W/D just hones in on a weak place it seems  .

Yes that burst GB was a walk on the wild side alright ......
