Hi, I have just finished my taper of diazepam, which I switched to after being on Ativan for 6 years. I feel lost in space without it, empty, want to be alone, bad temper, don't like anybody, 'cept my cat haha. What a comfort my cat, Daisy, is

Hi & Welcome to the Group! Congratulations on quitting these awful drugs.  Unfortunately it's common to have those kinds of feelings during withdrawal. While you were on the medications you brain got used to the medication doing the calming & now that the drug is out of your system your brain has to relearn how to calm itself. It just takes time. Hang in there & Stay Strong
