Total loss of emotion and blank mind. Withdrawal, DP, depression, or anxiety?

I have lost positive and negative emotions and have a blank mind. Stuck like this for 7 months.  Feel so empty and dead like I totally lost myself. Anyone else experience this?  Anyone recover?  How?

oh it's terrible, this is the one sx that drives me absolutely crazy, emotional numbness and nothingness in my brain, i have really bad dp/dr too and I'm pretty sure they go along with one another.. Good luck to us, i really hope this will start easing up pretty soon, it's been 13 months for me of it already((

Prof John Read says in a lecture “bad things happen to people and cause depression”.. And of course he doesn’t want everyone shoved on SSRIs. @)

David Healy says that a SMALL percentage of people who go through a major psyche illness and use meds don’t recover to be A1.

 

Seeing the recovery stories on here really encourages me. And we are by nature those who are on BB because life has been harder for us with meds. 

 

So I think I would offer that clinically you will again feel the thrill of a new day, the tussle and bustle of life again.

 

For the spiritually minded just look at the Psalms.

I have heard of this symptom and have read plenty of stories of people who do recover and regain their emotions!  They are able to feel joy  And be present in the moment.  So don’t despair! Your emotions will return

Time.  Broken Central Nervous System.  Apparently takes long time to heal.

The total loss of emotions/pleasure is one of my last remaining symptoms. The good news is I have talked to a lot of people who went through this and recovered from it. Most people who recovered from this took a long time before they got their emotions back but in time they got them back. I hope you all recover soon from this benzo hell.
