I am currently tapering at 7mgs. valium only at bedtime by dry cutting, down from 30mg. after a transition from 3mg lorazepam following the Ashton Method. I am looking to get a plan to switch to daily liquid tapering. I have been on benzos for over 3 years.

You will get plenty of support here.  Well done on your taper so far!  The general recommendation is to taper no more than 5-10% every 10-14 days, many need to taper slower, especially at the lower doses, whatever rate you are comfortable with. We have a great community here of knowledgeable and friendly people who understand this process.  Feel free to ask questions so that members can respond

Welcome to the group & Congratulations for getting so low on your dose, it's a big challenge I know. During the 7 years I was on Valium, about 1/2 that time I too was on 30 MG daily.  But now I'm 8 1/2 months Benzo free, as well as Antidepressant free after 11 years & I haven't felt this much like myself in years, it's great!  Hang in there, it only gets better!  Laydefish
