chronic lyme and benzo withdrawal

I'm in my early 70's and would like to compare notes with others who have chronic lyme and are tapering off a benzo, in my csse valium. I started at 10 mg. in Aug. 2017 and am now at 1.40 mg. a day. The lower I go , the more difficult it is. I would like to communicate with others in a similar predicament.

Hi Anyhow-

I had Lyme for many years, and have treated it more or less successfully with 4 years of abx and then homeopathy and a couple of other complementary therapies. I took massive quantities of Gabapentin for 6 years (last 2 years tapering down) and am now tapering off Valium that I started when the withdrawal from Gabapentin became unbearable. I am now down at about 1.48 V. Many health blips along the way due to Lyme: slowly the homeopathy and very good nutrition and therapy are improving my health. Been taking a break from this BB - though I do lurk extensively - and you should get a lot of help with your taper. I do find that the lower I go, the more I feel tiny little cuts - like .02. So I am going ridiculously slowly.
