I am 7 months out and in a bad wave right now. But it feels like some of my most distressing symptoms from acute are showing up again!!???

Is this normal in withdrawal? I keep hopinh that it will break soon, but it has not so far. Week two of this wave. Had one last month for three weeks.

I'm going through this now! Hold on!

Can share your experience alittle with me? Are you in a wave with symptoms you had in acute coming back again. How far out are you?

It’s all normal. Waves are horrific. Thats why they call them waves - it’s so intense it feels like you’re drowning. Just hang on, they always recede.

Can they cause you to have symptoms cme back that were pretty much gone?

Have you ever had waves that lasted for weeks after you were doing pretty well?

Yes and yes  :)

Try to do anything you can to distract. If that’s pacing for 30 minutes in your backyard then just do it.  :smitten:

Symptoms that disappear for awhile can definitely come back. It’s difficult to tell when they’re completely gone. But the more u focus & pick apart every sx ur experiencing, the more intense they’re going to feel. The way this works doesn’t make much sense so trying to figure out how it does will more than likely throw u into a tailspin. When sx that u thought were gone return, try not to get scared or let them consume ur thoughts. Eventually they’ll start to fade in intensity & duration. Hang in there, you’ll get through it. Just another pothole on the road to recovery. All the best in healing.

Thanks for the encouragement. That is good advice!

That happened to me after I ct from from an AD in 2006, i also developed alot of chemical sensitivities, my whole life changed. I haven't eaten in a restaurant for years, sometimes I really miss pizza amd  good restaurant cheeseburger. My senstivities from then have not gotten better yet. Have you read amy research that these sensitivites get better?

I became more tolerant as I healed more, seems like others do too.
