I've been 2 months off and is getting really bad. Phisycally is the tightness in my chess that sometimes became unbearable. But is the psychological side that is really excruciating. Extreme anxiety,Bad OCD's recurrent thoughts of all type, DP , tinnitus, dizziness. Trying to go back to a normal life that I can't never find. Afraid to lose my good job and put my family in a very stressful position. Went to the doctor and suggested to go back to the psychiatric and start benzos again. My ordeal started with Cipro intoxication and then I was put on the Psych meds for a short time 6 months. Long taper of K afterwards (10  months). I really don't want to reinstate but if any body did please let me know what  your experiences are. The alternative I'm thinking is some kind of anxiolitic non benzo - remeron anyone? I've been trying natural supplements but they mess me up. Gonna try L theanine tomorrow and see how it goes. I know I'm asking for the million dollar question but any advice will be greatly appreciated.

It’s different for everyone, but I promise you don’t want to reinstate. My worst was 4-6 months, then it’s been up and down since but slowly improving (I’m 9 months out). I think for most the worst is over in the first 6 months. Keep your head up, feet pointed forward, and just keep putting one foot in front of the other. If drugs did this too you do you think more drugs are a good idea? With that said, however, I personally started Remeron 3.75mg baby dose month 5. Helped with sleep, maybe some anxiety. At that dose it’s essentially a potent Benadryl.

Thanks Ican! you made my day!Nobody was responding so I really felt  :'( . Glad remeron is working for you. I took it for one week and made me sleep a lot! also EAT a lot. Yes I'm in a bad moment now I took L theanine and it helped me some but after a few days it made me feel bad. I always say not to fall taking anything but the desperation to feel better makes you take whatever.

Thanks again for yor imput . Hope the storm pass soon!

Hi Sara! Did you have any issues with Cipro. Mine were totally psychological.  I don't know if I'm still dealing with it after a year and half or is the clonazepan withdrawal. OR BOTH...

Man I had to re read your post to make sure you said you are afraid of still loosing your job. If you made it through acute withdrawal working you've got this! I have really bad psych stuff too now 3 months out but honestly I wish I was working to distract my mind still. I would feel weird starting a job in this state but I kinda keep wishing I already had one even though I know my performance would not be 100%. I still try to get out of the house any chance I get even when I end up feeling bonkers in public sometimes because its better than just always sitting with these thoughts.
