I am in a wave since stress of a dentist visit, it was getting better, now its bad again. Mymorning adrenaline surges and anxiety is so bad that I now hate the mornings and dreas going to bed because I know i have to face the mornings. Anyone else have their worse anxiety in the morning that wakes you up with adrenaline?

Hi there

Yes mornings are the worst!!!! I also go to bed worrying about starting the day all over again and dreading it, I think most struggle in the morning with symptoms especially anxiety. I just try to think it's another day to get through but another day of healing even if I'm in a state its still another day ticked off.

I do little things to break the morning u, make the bed, have a cup of ginger tea, wash up, have a wash, go for a short walk, another cup of ginger tea, put some washing in the machine, just little things to pass some time, I read posts on here, its all about distraction I know its hard believe me I struggle with anxiety too so I know what you feel like. Do you listen to podcasts? I listen to the benzofree.org podcasts, they are once a week on a wednesday you can catch up with all of them on the website, I also listen to audio books (my vision is blurry, one of my many symptoms!) I can listen to my books and sometimes it really helps to distract.

Hang in there things will get better.

Do you wake up with nervousness in your stomach and feeling like someone gave you coffee before you even get out of bed? My mind immediatigets afraid that my bp will be up and it is because of the adenaline rushes which just makes the anxiety worse and the bo.worse and so goes my mornings, i really don't  know how to break the cycle. It went away before though.

Yeah I wake up in total fear mode. Super scared. It seems to pass somewhat quickly but then my main anxiety comes on at night.

That's  what happens to me. Usually around 5:30 it wakes me up and my stomach gets so anxious, i can't fall back to sleep. I know my bp is going to be high because my hamds are sweating and my heart is racing, but I take it anyway and then my anxiety gets worse! I wish I ciuld just stop worrying. This adrenalinesurge thing went away before. So I am sure it will go away again.
