Can anyone relate?

As far as emotions go I feel so weird. I feel a mixture of, extreme sadness, anxiety, joy, fear, hope, lost, anger, regret. Just so much emotions that I can’t handle it. I want to go outside and do stuff. I want to live. I keep telling myself that this won’t last forever. I’m still only able to be on the porch. I just don’t know anymore. Will I wake up one day and this just be a thing of the past and I’ll be normal? I feel so sick thinking about the future and the past. I just don’t know how to handle my reality right now. Can anyone relate to this?

Yes!!  I 'used' to be a very social person, but am now intolerant to people.  I sit on my deck every night alone... avoiding my husband and friends.    I dread any social occasions because I just don't want to talk.  Its sad.  I know it will pass.  Its just not me.  I am seeing that people... just don't understand and I am tired of defending myself. 

Xanax seems to be a big joke... with a lot of my friends,,,  just pop a Xanax and all is good.  I tell anyone and everyone that will listen..... don't go down that path.  there is a better way.  They make it just too easy to medicate.  Sadly.

What you are feeling is very normal. Most of us felt the same way. You will heal from this, but in your own special way and rate. Took me a while but I am SO much better now that I am off benzos and ADs.
