I had ME/CFS prior to Benzos.

 

Not the ‘feeling tired’ version but the neuro kind that has similar symptoms to benzo WD including sensitivities, muscle fasiculations, pain, malaise etc.

 

 

I have made a huge mistake trying to come off of diazepam given this:

Please note that this study also says there are two more options; the Stablon (atypical antidepressant) and Ketamine (which I am very hopeful about due to other reports).

 

Let us know how you are doing on the new muscle relaxer and don't give up hope - we are not!

I can totally understand how scared this makes you. I too wonder if benzos caused ME/CFS for me. I understand that you already suffered with it and quitting benzos might have made it worse

Tried to read article but I am not very clear cognitively...  did those 2 possibilities apply to those of us with terrible benzo withdrawal and get such fatigue we cannot move?

I do not understand HPA axis stuff, what type dr. knows about that?
