Healed folks with remeron, can remeron help with anxiety and depression?

Yulikta, Remeron helps some people maybe 30-40% of the time in WD and should only be taken for short term if it will help you. And if you decide to give it a try do the lowest dosage and increase to moderate dosage. If it causes you with little to no effect after 2-4 days and does nothing for sleep except make you yawn slightly or aggravates any your current sx's or you feel much more worse quickly than discontinue it at once to avoid a later WD problem from it. If it doesn't make you sleepy pretty good the first night than that may be the earliest indication that it may not help, but you won't know til you try. Afterward real quick you will know or not it does. Trench

Ok, if it help you sleep. Side effects will go away in a week or so. I say 7-10 days. Hang in there.

P.S. Remeron halflife is around 30hrs. So half the dose is still in your system causing daily fatigue until those side effects should go away in a week.

Yulikta its helping you quickier which is not common but for you its a nice find and exactly will work for you and gets better every weak for up to 6-1 year and it tanks. So get off slowly after 2 months or continue til 6months and taper if on high dose.

Been on it a year.

Not more hungry now.

On 15 but 7.5 was more sedating .

It’s not that serotonin inducing so as Maugham1 says takes a while as AD

But great sleep and might helps your chronic neuro pain.

Good luck

I take 22.5 mg per day before going to bed. Initially, I gained about 10 pounds but then I said enough and have lost about 5 since then. It does need discipline, but it's doable.

How long do you think to take remeron?

I will take it as long as I taper Valium to 0 and then for a few additional months. Then, I will try to taper the Remeron.

I'm now 14 months of K and thinking of giving Remeron a try. I have been suffering for a long time with what seems to be symptoms of anger and postpartum OCD and depression. I'm wondering if it would help me at all.

1)  It takes 2-4 weeks for significant onset pf AD/anxiolytic effect.

2)  15mg is the minimum dose for any AD/anxiolytic effect.

3)  At lower doses, (<15mg) remeron is a powerful sleep aid.

4)  At higher doses, the sleep effect declines.
