Advice for taper from intermittent Ativan/Klonopin use over 4 months

See sig for specifics.

But, as a caveat, I took 1 full mg of Klonopin (for the first time) split across multiple small doses since 5pm yesterday following a second failed cold turkey attempt on the 4th day of the attempt.

Prior to the last 24 hrs, I never exceeded .5 mg klonopin a day.  My prescription was for .5 mg twice a day as needed for anxiety.  So, I thought I was doing fairly well.  I'd usually take half a pill (.25 mg) when I started feeling anxious and only take the other half if it didnt seen to subside.  I only took a total of 6.25 mgs over a month, including this recent 1 mg dosage and I took that bc my w/d symptoms were so horrible.

That being said...  being that this us the first time I took 1 mg, and my usual dosage was between .25-.5 mg a day, where should I begin a taper?

And should I be able to taper off these relatively low doses in a matter if weeks?  Thanks!
