Help! Most annoying symptom, intensifies after dosing

It seems especially after taking my klonopin, if I try to lay down and start dozing off, I get this butterfly like feeling, but it's at the base of my throat.  It feels like it creeps up, and sometimes, even though I'm already somewhat asleep, I start to feel faint...  I shoot up awake and scared and then can't get back to sleep.  I rarely, if ever, have this sensation when awake, although I have had other different throat sensations when awake - like a tickling, itchy, prickly, numb-like sensation inside my throat.  I suppose the sleep-sensation could be attributed to night panic attacks, but I don't recall feeling them until I started benzos.  These sensations are driving me insane, and are really the main reason I attempted to quit c/t.

Also, I have over the last week or two developed urinary retention issues where I have no control over my urine flow.  Fairly confident I still get it all out, but I often have to wait longer to he done.

Anyone experience these symptoms?

I call it my “waking jerks”. Usually if I try to chill after lunch and fall asleep.

I think it’s a primitive safety net but dunno?

Hope the peeing improves
