antidepressant?

needing to take something for depression, and can not tolerate SSRI's. I've been tapering Ativan long term use , have severe depression for over a year

Mirtazipine seems to be the go to AD. But some say hard to stop. Mild serotonin action.

Trazadone similar but less horror stories.

I have the opposite problem. I can not tolerate the older tricyclics and most of the SSRI's. The only SSRI that I tolerate well is lexapro.

Certainly sertraline is a much gentler SSRI!  I wish I could have had it without urinary  retension!
