Does inflammation go away?

Hello buddies, I am having Gum inflammation +knee inflammation, how do you know if you have an autoimmune disease? Can w/d give you an autoimmune disease? Or is this just temporary? :(

Any answers gladly appreciated, I know for sure this is causing all of this but doctors don’t “have information” about benzo withdrawal other than basic stuff....

Much love

Blossom

Not everyone agrees about the use of supplements but you do sound run down.

Gum inflammation can be due to drugs and of course we all know about scurvy! What do you think about vitamin C and E for the mouth and Vit D for the joint pain?

Do you have a balanced diet. ??

Incidentally you have been on high doses of a PPI so you could need your B12 and Iron levels checked as they prevent absorption.

Just some ideas to chew on.

Best wishes

Dick.

so sorry, i sympathize.  i am so worried about this too.  looking for answers too.

did you have knee or gum probs prior?

have horrible knee inflammation + pain - can barely walk - 'frozen' for months now.

like giant grapefruits but feel like cement.  also v bad ankles + feet.  can't wear shoes since SEP.

i link this to Clon......  1st dose of Clon. =  instant joint pain, swelling + muscle tension.  but GP refused me any other BZ.

Clon. made it 100x worse when new GP started updosing + messing w/ meds.

incl. many failed c/o Valium + then Lyrica trial -- which triggered DVT + v swollen ankles + feet.

both knees a prob 6 yrs now tho... 'patellar syndrome' + loss of some cartilage, fluid + tendonosis.

so knees already a weak spot + got rotated hip due to forced Baclofen CT prior to Clon.

as many BB say : BZ hit weak areas.

was taking fish oil + vit D while Clon. was 'working' for anxiety -- but hit tolerance v quick + quit supps -- all the GP messing w/ doses + drugs made me so ill.

my blood tests for inflammation are all 'normal' -- but had no prior inflammation or tests pre-BZ...... so hard to know.

wishing you healing + some remedies x

PS: Dickie -- does Vit D help w/inflammation?

large stress event can trigger auto immune diseases. But also not enough vitamin D can cause them. These medicines can leach out the nutrients we need and cause auto immune. I have been reading a lot about it the last 8 months or so.

Its important to start a diet that is low inflammatory and start getting many nutrients as possible thru juicing etc.

Getting sun is important.

From reading these aut immune genes can be turned on and they can also be turned off with the right life style.

Look into a woman who is a dr. her name is Terry Wahls. She had MS and cured it thru diet. Also there is a guy who had MS (50 lesions on his brain) and he cured his thru diet and a few other methods. His name is Bob Cafaro.

They both have tedx talks on youtube.

I take vitamin c (not currently because of gastritis) and vitamin D also, collagen, and curcumin. I totally agree in using supplements!

It’s been a rough one

Hey chipmunk, thank you for answering, Muscles and tendons have been one of my “weak spots” because I had an eating disorder before... i used to work out without any problems, since I started my taper I started to notice stiff muscles and that led me to an “injury” I don’t know, I am going tomorrow with the dr. But I heard like a “crack” on my left knee (probably cartulage) we’ll ser. Gum problems, NEVER. I work in the dental field :( so this is very sad for me, I am always watching my gums....this is all due to taper, that is for sure, I gathered with some people from the dental field also and disxussed this and they don’t have much of a clue than I do... snd I don’t have the money to pay for a biopsy (that was the advice) I am carefully monitoring all my symptoms...

Also my tongue papilllae were inflammed too...

I feel you, “frozen” knees...I mesn I can walk but they are heavy...it’s weird

Much love and healing vibes to every one
