go to public hospital in your area for the indigent and noninsured. tell them you are homeless, jobless, etc whatever and that you're in need of a prescriber for your meds including Klonopin until you can get on your feet. they have to help you. the only way they can ct you is if you exhibit "drug seeking behavior" ie trying to get higher doses of the meds or "losing" meds and trying to get more before you're out.  if they ct you, you can sue. go to the er if neccessary, your life is in danger of heart attack and seizure if they yank you off ct. even a rapid taper in a mental hospital or psych ward of a hospital is preferable to a ct which could end your life. plus if you DO seizure or heart attack, they can watch for that and give you life-saving meds and procedures where you'll be looked after. please don't try to do this alone! 0.5 klonopin = 10mg valium/diazepam! it's not a small jump, it's very dangerous.

Same thing happened to me but I was on Klonapin 6 mgs and Ambien 20 mgs. Oh what a holy mess that was. I am so sorry you are facing this.

You are a medical person, just as I am (RN of many years). Nothing prepared me for benzo wd. I even worked in a detox place for a while and never once was told the truth about benzos. I find that incredible.

Trench, your dose is quite low. That does not mean you wont have withdrawal symptom, but it MIGHT make your recovery go a bit better than it was for me.

He has a duty of care. He is making life hard for a bit. I think you have Seroquel don’t you, which might lessen withdrawal.  ?

Because I walked in those same shoes, I can tell you it WILL get better. No one should be forced to go CT, but it does happen. Roll with the punches, my friend. Your K dose was low, and that should be a good thing for you.
