Yeah, "raw" is about right. When you're in this state and feeling anxious it's very hard to focus or make decisions. I was speaking with a AAA rep on the phone and tried to understand what she was saying, and couldn't articulate the right questions. Was so embarrassed and frustrated I nearly had to hang up. I literally froze for a long period and was finally able to ask her to repeat her last statement. Damn! I hate this constant tension and fog. That's the problem with PAWS. It takes any pre-existing conditions and seems to amplify them in an negative way.

Hoping it gets better for you.

Yep, that's withdrawal. I can relate a lot to what you wrote. I felt exactly like that during around months 10-15. The worst was the DP/DR and the sensitivity. It felt like I was on the verge of having a seizure. I have never had one up until now fortunately, so I wouldn't know what a seizure feels like, but that's the best description I can give. I even started a thread called "Pre-seizure feeling".

I didn't have anxiety pre benzo but at 16 months off I can relate to what you are experiencing, it's a horrible feeling but I think it's more likely to relate to the neurological dysfunction and brain out of balance than just pre existing anxiety.
