Members or Doctors in Hong Kong?

Hello everyone.

 

Does anyone know any member from Hong Kong? Or a benzo-wise doctor in Hong Kong?

 

Hong kong unfortunately (and generally in east asia) is so backward in psychiatry. East asia have one of the highest prescription of benzodiazepine and other psychotropic but completely oblivious to their harmful effects. I have tried to contact around 50+ psychiatrist in Hong Kong but all said they have no idea about withdrawal. ugh!

I experienced the same problem in Hong Kong but found a good psychiatrist eventually, with full knowledge of Ashton Taper (and latest updates including an even slower taper is preferred, 5% every 2-4 weeks), and not too expensive.

He is London qualified. He's very sympathetic and even immediately offered some diazepam as soon as I walked into the office as he could see I was suffering nasty withdrawal. I believe this practice treats lots of the Cathay Pacific crew and pilots, so they are pretty knowledgable.
