I’m reinstating. Wish me luck.

I have decided to reinstate.

The muscle contracture I was a n it for is too s very without it.

Withdrawal is quite literally causing me further spinal damage. A thoracic vertabrae has been pulled forward out of place along with the ribs. The site I had the surgery has been twisted and pulled around so much during WD it is now unstable. It is making the kyphosis at the top of my thoracic spine worse and causing further damage to my already very damaged neck.

I will probably need more surgery as a result of the WD.

I hope the altered muscle tone (all my muscles have gone fibrous and stiff) caused by WD resolves and that the muscle wasting can be rectified with hard work.

Please pray for me that my other horrendous symptoms resolve and that the drug still works for me and continues to do so as it did for 20 years.

We will all pray for you Ajusta, you have suffered so much.  I really hope this works and you are finally able to get some relief.  Love Mary 💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏

I said a prayer for you Ajusta. Sounds like the pain is both unrelenting and unbearable. I hope you can find some relief. Please return and let us know you are doing ok.

Likewise, Ajusta.  Good luck, and good management, that is.

I would do same if things were unbearable or worsening.

Wishing you all of the very best as you get this thing in check.

I will.

I will stick around for a bit anyway as still dealing with benzo issues.

How much valium are you reinstating with?

I’m going to start with 2mg 4x/day.

Before WD I was on 2.5mg 3x/day for 6months and for the 20 years before that 5mg 2x/day.

Ajusta, sending Prayers and letting you know, that I know you gave it all you had to try to get off of benzo's. Sadly you had pre-existing health problems. I really think that it will get better for you, it may take a little time, but if that person that worked on your back said a knot was gone, is an indication things will get better. I think you are very strong for all the suffering you have gone through, and this is not said lightly, there were times I cried reading your posts, but I know that one can only take so much, and you have taken more than most. Also as bad as you had it, that maybe one day you can taper again, but with a very slow and low taper, and if not, that is OK too. Please post how you are doing. You deserve to feel better, everyone here at BB does, and you gave it more than most could have tolerated. Stay Strong, and remember it takes time for the medication build back up in your body. Best to you always. 💖 Peace and Healing.

Ajusta,

You have been very brave throughout all of your ordeals. Your bravery and intelligence will continue to serve you well as you soldier on.

I extend to you my most sincere best wishes during your recovery. :)
