Someone to explain me this? How some trauma on my body (physical nerv/joint dislocation last week) or stress can triggered me so badly like I am C/T right now! After 16 fucking months off guy's! How is possible everyone's here share that waves with time are more and more weaked then they disappeared! Okay I have that but suddenly I've got stressed and I am hitten from brutal waves like in my acute 2017 !

16months off and nothing changed? Why? I was out from 5months wave in February and now from stress event I am again! When this will finish?

Can I tolerate stress ever again like prebenzo crap?

I am so discouraged and disappointed because nothing is gonna changing I will be forever in this.....

:(

Hi Lexsant, I have changed my thinking towards healing. I recognize your feeling, especially around month 16. I guess we are slow healers, no matter what we do. We can’t force our healing. I have accepted my status which is crap and sometimes good. Hard and very frustrating to live like this. I became so obsessed by my healing or better said not healing. Focus on the negative makes it even harder. If I keep busy it’s still tough but gives a better feeling overall.

I'm exactly the same, 16 months off and have noticed some improvement although waves are still brutal and frequent and now I caught a cold and sxs back to acute, why does this happen, if I had been healing through the 16 months why am I getting this severe a setback, just so awful, you can't go through life never having stress or catching a cold etc, I am starting to think I am permanently disabled now.

Yes my mental stuff is pure torture, DR,  SI,  rage attacks, intrusive ruminating thoughts and memories,  depression episodes, severe crying spells, the list is endless and the brutal waves seem to be getting worse, I have had a few times of feeling relatively ok but then get swamped again, just don't know how or when I'll ever get to be relatively normal again, my marriage is in crisis from all this shit, such evil evil poisonous drugs.

I am very sorry for your situation. It's horribly frustrating. I hope this is encouraging.

To all of you reporting severe symptoms over a year off, I hear you, and I understand.  If you're in this camp, and I am, you almost hate to read someone's success story as it seems like salt in the wound.  Why them, and not me? What did I do wrong?  The answer- probably nothing.  There are times we screw up voluntarily- eat/drink the wrong thing, do too much, or otherwise push the envelope. My bad, and I pay for it. Other times, it's as if someone turned on a light switch, and out of the blue, you're sick again. Understand some of it is out of your control.

This is not your fault or "God hates me," it's physiology.  We're all born with different genes, so drugs can affect us all very uniquely. We all have different environments: work, climate, etc.  We eat differently. As I've told a friend also experiencing withdrawal, what happens to cause a wave may be somewhat predictable: illness, psychological stress, overtired, etc., but not always. What helps seems a bit more vague, as something you do or supplement you take may work intermittently.  Why? The nervous system/gut (2nd brain) are adapting. Things work, then they don't. It's based on how the master systems are coping. It's not a fault or failure. A particular supplement may help, but just not now.

Things I've used: 1)  A keto-type diet.  Why? It decreases excitability.  Researchers found that putting someone with chronic seizures on a strict keto diet for two years, often "cured" them. No meds, and no other problems for life.  (Meryl Streep movie about it- First Do No Harm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyeC9IiFKpw) Additional info

Withdrawal is a little bit different than what gets promoted as keto on YT, etc.  Do not look to go to one meal a day, and you cannot fast! If your blood sugar drops, it triggers adrenaline which makes things go haywire. You may need small protein snacks between meals, and before bed. (I do.) Overall, I adhere to basic keto;  lower carbs, higher fats, protein, fresh veg. No sugary foods.  2) For calmness- Vit C/niacin.  Dr Abram Hoffer did extensive work with withdrawal using supplements.  He used high dose vitamin C, and flushing niacin. His regimen was with heroin addicts- they came off in 3-5 days.  I use both liposomal vit C, and buffered C intermittently. (Too much of it is rough on tummy.)  Can buffer with bicarbonate or potassium bicarbonate. I use the non-flushing niacin; 2000mg at a time. It always calms me.  3) For muscle tremors/shaking- Taurine- a pseudo-amino acid.  It's found in bile salts naturally. It's protective to kidneys, and heals diabetic retinopathy. It will DROP BLOOD SUGAR.  Take it with food or a snack. It helps stop muscle tremors.

I take some supplements daily.  I use more when things get rough. Sometimes it just happens.  Having these tools helps me cope. I couldn't physically tolerate it otherwise- have vomited to dehydration.  Your choice to take supplements or not.  This is an offer for something that may help.
