Can anyone explain what's the difference between Cog fog and DR/DP because I'm wondering what I'm experiencing. I am confused...

I feel as if my head/brain is inflated like a balloon and I can't think logically and rationally. It's an overwhelming and scary feeling like of an "empty brain". This sensation comes and go in phases and besides this I also have a constant feeling of beeing emotionally disconnected, no joy, motivation etc

Can 100% relate. I feel DP/DR is like a scary trip where you cannot identify with your own thoughts or perceptions. Being emotionally disconnected seems to go hand and hand with this. I've felt like a complete stranger to my own life and everyone in it.  I'm over 22 months out now and much better then I was but know better days are yet to come.. patience and acceptance is key! Not easy at all but essential!

Sensi,

Yes, my brain feels “empty” all the time!  Frightening.

My brain feels like a stuffed animal, filled with cotton. Dr dp for me is disconnection with myself and to others. Everything is unreal...

Hello Sensi,

I can relate totally to 'empty brain'  and the waves make me feel so ill.

With it I also have a total fog covering my vision. It is terrifying. I was a

long term user of benzos. All this is the brain healing process! Does

anyone have the awful feeling of 'going'? These evil pills must be banned.

Pat
