So guys depressing story. So after recovering and beeing fully healed for 10 months I have had a very mysterious setback. Makes no sense. Was taking no meds no booze nothing. Life was perfect. Took a high dose vitamins and hereci am woorse symptoms than my initial cold turkey in terms of mental especially. So bad for 2 weeks I had to reinstate somerhing so opted for valium.  Hasnt taken well so took a switch to clonazopam. Now as I lay here my legs are tensing up, the typical withdrawal srarting. I just cant stabalize and already on 1.5-mg clonozapam. So what is a guy to do? How do I taper if I cant even stabalize? ....and iv been back on for 3 weeks. Its like my body just wint stabalize. Is it even worth living through??

Hmm...I just can't really understand how going back on a benzo was even an option if you've been through withdrawal and was doing well for 10 months? I get that setbacks are real and a thing but why did you think you needed a benzo from a vitamin overload? Being honest with you, I'd do whatever I could to rapidly come off Klonopin. That's a hefty dose and you stay on much longer and your in for a long bumpy road getting off. Good luck

I agree with twowheels. I would get off the K immediately. If you need pharmaceutical help there are other drugs that might help without the same addiction profile.

Get off the K, you accomplished so much the benzos aren’t the cure. You have to have a bit of will power. Sometimes stuff gets rough and you’ll get right back on track. In my past I went cold turkey on 6mg of K after taking it for 6 years, 3 months later I was perfect. Was good for 3 years. Then last year my grandmother was dying got on xanax, big mistake, and here I am again. Drop it before it’s too late

I agree with the others, that you should get off as quickly as possible.

Guys I took the vitamins, was way too much I was dumb. I literally lost my mind, couldnt communicate, couldnt interact with kids etc. 4 weeks ago I  got admitted to mental hospital after 2 months of literally being insane. Im al ot better since being on the K. Do you think I would even be able to do a rapid taper now? How fast? Been on for about 4 weeks think its too late for a quick on off.... I just want to die...

Giys iv decided not to be a pussy about this. I worked out iv been back on these sick drugs for 2.4 weeks not 4. ,so im going to make an attempt at a fairly fast taper and rough itvout. I know it might not work. But thank you guys ok. Appreciate the responses and you are all right. Please give me some wncouragement. You think I can do it? Will try cut one of the quarter tabs im taking a day. Take 3  day. Or maybe just half.

So if you say you are better on the K, and it sounded like you had a tough time, are you ready to taper? There is no award for being benzo-free; if right now you absolutely need them to survive, I would rethink tapering right now. Just my two cents. You have to do what works for you and your family.

Thanks NJ, that was a very refreshing response. I decided to take a big jump today as I have only been back on for a short time. Jumped from 1.5 to 1.25. (Maybe not as big as it feels). But I will beat this thing. And so will you NJ.  :)

And just an interesting fact. As I said the valium did not take very well when I tried to reinstate. Well, got some genetic tests back tonight. I have some kind of genetic resistence to bloody valium.... which is why it did not woek for long. And also likely why the clonazopam doesnt work as smoothly for mea. Just a fun fact  :idiot:

Personally I would taper off klonopin quickly before it can do any more damage.  Waiting to stabilize, then tapering from their, could end up giving you worse withdrawal than you had the first time around.

Will go as quick as I can but also dont want to be too disfunctional. Thanks for the advice.... im pretty stuck on how fast is safe....

Why did you go back?  Just get off it.  It's not worth it.  And if vitamins rev you up, stay away from them also.  Just eat clean/healthy food, and you will get enough vitamins from that.

Whatever happened was catastrophic. I stayed off all vitamins for 10 months, never took a headache pill. By the rime I took the vitamins I was so well that it didnt even cross my mind I mightam hurt myself. Took way to much. They did not just rev me up ito completely lost my mind. Had all day detachment, severe anxiety, feeling like my mind had been lost, like insanity. This went on for 2 months without any reprieve, even I thought I had lost my mind. They gave meme benzos and it cleared up most symptoms. I still have some things but I am 10 x better. So here I am. And I dont think its ad easy as jist "coming off"' did a .25 mg cut yesterday and got some symptoms, if im ok in about a week or so I will conaider another big drop. Thank you for the concern. I wish it was as easy as just stopping cold turkey. I did that with xanax a year ago and it was hell. Whatever happened with these vitamins was brutal ok, so I had to reinstate. In fact it fixed so many things I was relieved. Before reinstating I lost 17 kg in 8 weeks, weighed 55kg and almost died. Thought food was poisoning me. It was a bad situation. So reinstating saved me..... thats why. Wish I could just stop butvi have 2 kids I need to be functional for.

Listen to your body in your taper.  You've tapered before so your body may not okay with a fast taper.  I would be careful and try to keep yourself functional.  This is not a race no matter why you went back on them, you are back on now.

Multiple tapers can really take a toll on the CNS, so do listen to your body.
