Tolerance Withdrawal after Substitution?

Post #2 here so I hope I'm in the right place.

My wife failed tapering twice off of Klonopin before we knew the scale of the impact it was having on her. After the second attempt to stop, and then reinstating, she started having withdrawal like symptoms right after taking each dose. We even ramped up to 1/mg with no change. Thankful for that now actually.

An ER doc put her on 7.5mg Valium at the end of August and abruptly stopped the Klonopin. She never really stabilized 100%. So I'm not sure if tolerance withdrawal is still occuring or what? She's taking more Valium than Klonopin but I don't know what it's equivelant too and if that's been a setback as well.

You’re supposed to cut over in stages but for what it’s worth, I didn’t, and it took around two or three months before I felt right.
