20 years of Xanax detoxed10.5 months without

I was prescribed Xanax 3 mg and Xanax ER 6mg daily and Ambien for sleep, Went to Rehab because I also used alcohol. I was detoxed in 3 days and have no real recollection . I am struggling with anxiety. overall brain zaps and amnesia, body aches, eating, and cigarette addiction.Not able to work but life is so much better!

Congratulations on ten months off of Xanax.  Quite an accomplishment from a fast c/t of 20 years of use.

Welcome to BB.  I echo what Green Cup says, how are you feeling?  That was a hefty dose, for a  long time, to come off of that quickly.... Please do check in and let us know.  It wouldn't be surprising if it's a bit much atm.... ten months off is a huge accomplishment!!  I too am a long term Xanax user who is slowly tapering off...
