After a LONG withdrawal, I took my last V last week

I wanted to wait a week before announcing my last dose, but so far it has stuck, and reinstating is simply not an option. Sleep still sucks, but now that I'm done perhaps the REAL healing can begin!

Awesome ~ So happy for you.  Good luck and you got this.

Wish I was there, but still have a ways to go.  I'm still trying to figure out how to cut smaller doses from Klonopin.  Everyone says do small % cuts or it can make one crazy.  I've already tried CT for couple days and thought I had lost my mind.  Will have to learn liquid method.

Congrats on that last dose!!

The first week after my 6 month taper was complete I felt pretty good. It was after the 1st week for me all hell broke loose. I noticed you had a long taper, hopefully you won't have any more problems. Please keep us posted. I would like to know if a long taper really helps

Congrats  You've been healing all along, your body has been adjusting to the taper throughout the time frame in which you did it.........so, IMO there is no REAL healing beginning. Your just REALLY free of the drug

I did titrate. For the most part I did the tablet dissolved in 2 ml whiskey and 98 ml water and went down from there. For the last couple months I used liquid Valium, which was much easier and seemed more consistent. It is still in the cabinet, just in case, but so far no re-dosing. I have been up since 3:00, so things aren't perfect, but they have been much worse!

Thanks for the well wishes, folks!

Yay, another Valium jumper! Your taper was so slow, hopefully you won't have much of an acute phase. It is a relief to be off.
