hey buddies i am going to fl w brothers gf to help drive and once im at his house ill have almost a 3 hr drive past tampa to my bf house. Im nervous that all that time alone ill be stuck in my head or ill have an accident or someting

have any of you had long drives that you were scared of and turned out fine??

Yes. I really like driving long distances now and do it with my job often. It gives me time to space out to music and not worry. You'll be great!

I've travelled a lot.  Once you're driving you should feel better.  It's the anticipatory fear that's getting to you.  It's not too bad.

Yes.  I have traveled a lot between Houston and SA.  I don't mind the long drives, they help me clear up my head.  You'll do fine!

wow im really surprised that you all find it even enjoyable! while at home i have to be occupied..and if its not something busy enough my mind goes off. I hope it is ok and builds my confidence
