Dear friends,

I am just so confused here

Back on 4/1/2017 I was taking 1.5 mg and today 7 months later 10/15/2017 my daily dose is t 0.625 mg doing the Liquid titration. I made 300 ml when I was at 1.5 mg taking out 1 ml of water almost every day 299 298 27 etc    My daily reduction was .005 mg per 1 ML      1.5/300 is 0.005 mg per 1 ML water

So from 300 ML to 200 I drank 100 ML of water that made me reduce a while .5 mg of the pill  100ml x 0..5mg is .5 mg of Ativan a whole pill

Now I'm making 200 ml of water and putting my 2  .5 (1mg) mg Ativan pills in the water. I have been reducing 199 ml 198 ml 197ml and today I am at 125 mL"s

Any suggestions how to reduce the from 0.625 mg to 000.... I am afraid to jump of this poison...  The Ativan pills that I have are .5mg .. I throw 2 of them in the 200 ml of water

I am dosing 3 times a day  ....

In 25 days I should be at .5 mg A = 5mg Valium

Any suggestions please help")

Thank you for your time reading my this.

Hi Rayban,

You might need to reduce your taper rate.  If you taper by 0.005 mL per day for 25 days, you will cut by 0.126 mg and you will be down to 0.499 mg or 0.5 mg.  That would be a 20% reduction for 25 days.  I used to be able to handle no more than a 20% reduction per month, but for this taper, my rate is about 5 - 6% monthly.  The 20% a month rate was too much for me.

If you are feeling well and want to continue with a 20% cut, you could make a 150 mL liquid with one 0.5 mg tablet.  This would be 0.003 mg/mL.  If you reduced by 1 mL per day, it would be about an 18% reduction per month. You would have to adjust the rate as you get lower in dose to keep it in the 5 to 20% cut range. You can adjust your taper rate by increasing the volume of liquid. You could also take 0.8, 0.7, 0.6, 0.5 mL, etc.  less per day.  I am now down to a very small dose and decrease each day by a total of 0.1 mL (0.0004 mg) each day.

Hope this helps.

Anne
