Uncontrollable rage

SX? I just go off, and then I feel like I'm going crazy inside and all of my muscles tense and then shake - which is weird because I'm so weak. Anyone else get this?

I call them rage attacks and I have them too especially in early wd. It seems to be part of wd for many people. Just wanted you to know you're not alone and you did a good job describing it here. I was not an angry person before this and it's sometimes terrifying for me because of that, like someone else has taken over my body. Strength and healing to you.

Yes, I'm very irritable and go  off easily. The opposite of how I used to be.

I have to constantly remind myself of who I was before wd. It's hard to educate other people about wd especially the mental symptoms. Maybe your mom needs to remember what you were like before too? I mean even without the rage attacks anyone going through this torture would lose patience and snap sometimes. It's really hard to hold composure.

Mine rage faded after about a year or so, I still have it but I can keep it to myself and I now know what and who to avoid to no ignite it.

 

I found blowing steam off at the gym and yoga help the most.

I wish I felt up to going to the gym... when did you start going back to the gym? Or were you able to always go?

I had that today, but it was brief.  My neighbor set me off, but I decided to let it go.  Still it reved me up.
