How long does it take to be "kindled?"  I'm very worried that all those times I ran out of my prescription early has kindled me into oblivion.

I think it's very hard to say, as there is very little info out there on kindling, only anecdotes. Plus, every person's response is very individual.

But, it's better not to worry; if you ran out of your prescription for only a few days, it's considered safe. There are many people that quit c/t then reinstate in this timeframe.

Hmmmm.  That's what has me a little worried.  I essentially c/ted MANY times.  Well, this should be fun, then.

Danimal, don't know if this helps, but I'm in the same boat as you. Buckle up for the ride, put your hands in the air and scream: "Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!"  :D

If you only ran out for a few days, you should be ok.

If you don't know then it's no worth thinking about bc there's nothing that can be done. I'm kindled like a dozen times. It just is what it is.

Like it or not, benzo withdrawal sufferers find it helpful to talk about it.  No one knows the answer for sure, but people like to discuss it.  There are no guarantees to get better, except 2:  time and staying away from benzos.  Good luck.

I'm pretty sure that I kindled a few times in the last 5-6 years. Would take Klonopin for 2-3 months, then quit.. Start again 3-4 months later for another few weeks, quit again. Last year especially, because I wasn't sure if the Klonopin was CAUSING or helping my anxiety and weird mental symptoms, so I would get really bad, take it for a week.. Then stop for 3-4 days.. Rinse, repeat for months.. Was then increased by a Psychiatrist to 2mg a day, which I took for 2-3 months and then dropped myself back down to 1mg a day, then off, within two weeks or so. And here I am now 5.5 months later.

Mix in some alcohol abuse and throw in some neat polydrug for the last 7 years, on this SSRI for 2-3 weeks, off for 3 weeks, on this SSRI for 3-4 weeks, off for 4 weeks, on this SSRI for 2 months, etc etc. I have no idea what this might have done to my mind, but I hope that I am still capable of healing.
