All my current doctors and immediate family want me back on the "d..n" pill so I can get to feeling better.

They just don't understand nor want to encourage me to stay strong.

The only positive words I read (my brain hears it though) is on benzo-buddies.

We got to stay strong.

This is the only place I hear to do just that!

I'm suffering through terrible dizziness, nausea spells and horrible insomnia. No one says a dang word to encourage me but my heart

tells me its worth it..

Cheers!!

I’m in the same situation, my wife actually just came around when she read Kelly Brigan’s Book and then actually went to a weekend retreat with her. But before that, she and my well meaning parents keep insisting for me to go on SSRI.

The worst part is how that’s the only thing on their mind when they ask me how I’m doing. It’s impossible to listen when you already have your mind made up as to what you think “the answer” is.

We don’t want answers or solutions, just someone to listen. It helps just to talk about the hell we are going through.

I feel your frustration Stuck. Hang in there.

I know exactly where you're coming from.  My dad somewhat encourages me to get off the paxil and klonopin.  My mom says she's doesn't want me ruining the holidays with my withdrawals and depression :( Really the only person who is helping me through this is my boyfriend.  He's been through all this and has been benzo free for almost two years.  you're definitely not alone.

Having a boyfriend that has been through this must be an AMAZING resource.
