Welcome to the forum.  I'm glad you found us.  You didn't give much information, so I'm going to assume you are experience some hyperemia as a result of taking or tapering Xanax??  Withdrawing from these drugs can have a lot of different effect on different individuals.  Heightened sensory awareness (sensitivity to light, taste, sound, touch and smell) are very common.  The symptom usually resolves fully in time.
