Depression

I'm so down I have no desire to take care of myself, eat, shower. I only want to lie in bed. I cant focus on anything-reading, TV. I feel so alone & afraid. I'm so afraid that Ill never feel emotions again or be able to enjoy things I used to. Anyone with this feel better? I don't know if I can do this. Lost my job yesterday

Hi there, I was extremely sick after I first jumped and went through the same thing. Slowly my concentration returned and was able to read and watch tv. The depression is completely a part of our healing process. Don't believe your lying brain, it's healing right now and we have to suffer but in time this will all pass. You will see new symptoms arise and others completely drop off. It's normal to feel the way you do right now. Be kind to yourself, you got this

Upping my psych med during benzo withdrawal sent me right to the psych hospital & put right back on benzos.  I got off of everything & it was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life but the depression is better at one year off.  Not  ton better but better than that dark place.  Good luck ❤️❤️

Ugh, yes I was so depressed that I was thrown in a mental hospital for 10 days. Almost 3 months later and I'm beginning to see improvement.

 

This is definitely not for the weak. Keep fighting!!

I often have felt like this and often fall into this slump. I found jogging outside, or long long walks, and exercise really cuts through the depression.
