Should divided doses be of equal value during taper?

Should I be taking two even doses of taper rather than 2.5 in AM and 5 in PM? When I wake up my symptoms seem to be tolerable. But I took my 2.5 about two hours ago and I actually feel worse now. Could I be developing reverse tolerance? Last night I woke up with a fierce headache. Is developing reverse tolerance on one’s own even possible?

7 hours out from my morning dose and I'm feeling a bit better. The anxiety stranglehold is loosening. I feel like I can breathe. It's such a roller coaster. Maybe the valium isn't the right med for me. Maybe my dosing schedule isn't right. Maybe it's all just withdrawal symptoms/anxiety.

1. I mentioned reverse tolerance as a REMOTE possibility on another topic.

I also said I wouldn't put any money on it, which turned out to be right.

What you're describing doesn't sound like reverse tolerance;

if it were, you'd be feeling even worse after 5mg.

 

2. Have you seen Ashton's schedules? They all end up with diazepam unevenly divided.

There's a reason for that. Diazepam is more potent of a hypnotic.

That seems to be in accordance with your feeling better after a few hours.
