very nasty thoughts with tamazepam

Hi, Ive written a post about tapering from tamazepam after now 4 weeks but today i noticed that i have had to take Valium 2.5 mg 4 times including just now due to horrid detailed  thoughts which I'm associating with the temazepam. i also have blurred vision, fuzzy thinking and strange tingles everywhere. i cant just stop and I'm scared to taper but i think i need to switch to Valium and then taper. my questions are could The temazepam be causing the thoughhts and can switching to Valium help me not have them and allow me to taper successfully

What kind of thoughts are you having? Benzos and w/d symptoms can cause all manner of upsetting thoughts.

I’m wondering if you could reconsider the Valium, which can cause serious depression in some people.

 

I’m only mentioning it because I’m worried about the thoughts you’ve been experiencing, and when I tried switching to Valium myself, it plunged me into a profound depression - I had to switch back to Ativan, because I simply could not function in that state.

 

Is it possible that you could try temazepam only, and see if your mood lifts a little?

this is all so difficult to understand. there is a depressive state and horrid thoughts... i dint know what the hell I'm doing here. yesterday i took 2.5 mg Valium to calm me down as i was in a ***state, then at bedtime we decided i would do Valium and temaz so i did 10mg temaz and 5 Valium. i seem much calmer today ( its only 8;30am) ive read that temaz can give you ***thoughts in some women and im thinking im one of them....

 

i really do advice on a slow taper that gets these thoughts out of my head. i was going to fly to belgium yesterday!! if you now what i mean.....
