I wake up so weak, fatigued - like I’ve been working out intensely for a week with no breaks ..

I clean houses for a living so Monday through Friday I clean houses every day for 10 hours a day , and then weekends I work in retail for 8 hours a day . So I initially have no days off .

Could this contribute to that  or should my body be use to this schedule by now ? I started working non stop a month ago .

I also have terrible shoulder , right arm and neck pain .

Anyone else feel like they have the flu ? Only it’s not the flu

Hi Duck,

I am now in my twelfth week without zopiclone, and I am feeling terrible. Kind of flueish. I am not having a job, I don't know if I should be happy with that or not. I have backpain too.

So you're not the only one feeling not good. I don't know if this helps.

This is a common symptom of withdrawal syndrome.... 'benzo flu'.  It feels exactly like the flu, but, as you said, it's not.

There are other things that can make you feel this way, but it's unlikely to be anything other than withdrawal.  You are pretty early in your post-jump phase, so it's not surprising that you are suffering.  Also, working as hard as you are is likely to ramp up your symptoms.  Your CNS is fragile and physical stress is known to ramp up symptoms.  Also, if you withdrawal syndrome has resulted in a disturbance in your HPA axis (hypothalmus, pituitary, adrenal) then physical stress is sure to up your symptoms.

Keep up the strong fight, LovelyD!  You'll make it!!!!
